Using The Kenetic Molecular Theory, Explain Why A Gas Can Be Easily Compressed, While A Liquid And Solid Cannot?

using the kenetic molecular theory, explain why a gas can be easily compressed, while a liquid and solid cannot?

Good Day...

Gas can be easily  compressed compared to liquid and solid because gas molecules are far away from one another. Solid have a very compact particles compared to gas and liquid making it more difficult to compressed. Liquid molecule on the other hand, are a little bit closed compared to gas molecule. Liquid can be slightly compressed but not comparable to the compressibility of gas molecules.

Hope it helps.....=)
